For proper functionality of this detector and for detecting foreign magnetic fields, the detector must be calibrated. The calibration process is described as follows:
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

JA-103K or JA-107K

JA-111R

detector with recognition
of external magnetic fields
JA-1x3M
*All components must be updated to the latest firmware and enrolled in the control panel.
Note:- For correct calibration, the detector must be installed in its final position. Calibration cannot be performed while holding the device or placing it on a table.
- When installing the detector, please consider the stability of the mounting surface. If the door or window is not securely fixed, or the working distance between the detector and the permanent magnet varies (e.g., due to weather conditions), we recommend using a detector that does not require calibration, such as the JA-150M.
- Calibration must be performed during the initial installation for proper functionality.
CALIBRATION PROCESS

Physical Calibration (On the Device)
- Switch the system into service mode.
- Activate the tamper contact (open the detector) and close it within 5 seconds. The detector will indicate the start of the calibration process with periodic slow double red flashes.
- Open the door/window and close it within 4 seconds. The open state is indicated by fast periodic red flashes; the closed state is indicated by slow periodic red flashes.
- Immediately open and close the door/window again.
- Successful calibration is indicated by one long red flash.
Calibration from F-link software:
- Open the internal settings of the detector and set the function of the second input to “Magnet.” The detector will indicate readiness for calibration with a continuous yellow light. If the light is off, activate the detector by opening and closing the door/window.
- In the internal settings, press the “Start” button to begin calibration.

- After a short delay, the detector will flash red twice briefly, indicating readiness for calibration.
- Open the door/window and close it within 4 seconds. The open state is indicated by fast periodic red flashes; the closed state is indicated by slow periodic red flashes.
- Immediately open and close the door/window again.
- Successful calibration is indicated by one long red flash.
LED indication during calibration process:
- No light: Detector awaits communication. To continue, activate the detector by opening and closing the door/window.
- Continuous yellow: Detector is communicating with the control panel. Calibration can be initiated.
- Continuous yellow + slow periodic double red flashes: Detector is ready for calibration. Activate it by opening and closing the door/window.
- Continuous yellow + fast periodic double red flashes: Detector is calibrating; the process takes 4 seconds. Ensure the detector is in a stable position (closed door/window without movement).
- Continuous yellow + slow periodic red flashes: Detector is ready for calibration process. Activate it by opening and closing the door/window.
- Single long red flash: Calibration was successful.
